The Maelstrom-X is Exodus Audio's new 18" subwoofer employing an XBL^2 motor, AlCu shorting rings, and 33mm of one way X-max.

I can not recommend these wonderful drivers enough. You really have to hear them in action to have any idea how good they really are. Never get caught into believing the regular audiophile ideals that small drivers are 'fast' and large drivers are 'slow'. Its utter nonscence :) These drivers are great for both HT and 2ch requirements. If your thinking about giving a sub or two a go, make sure you look at these :)
